Automatic Superannuation payments

#1

Post by Katto49 »

Hi,

Firstly, I was wanting to create this in the official Xero Central but was going 'mental' trying to find out how to raise a new request, so am hoping someone here can help.

We are using the Automatic Superannuation payment setup in Xero but I now realise that there can be only one authoriser/mobile no. which creates a problem if the usual authoriser is not available another person can submit the automatic super for payment but the authorisation no. goes to only one mobile no. Namely the mobile no. of the unavailable person.

I want to be able to choose an alternate mobile no. when needed.

Does anyone else have an issue with the way the auto super is set up.

Thanks

Hi Katto49,

This isn't something I am too familiar with (not being in Australia). It does seem like a very daft idea to only have person able to authorise! I wonder if it might be a good idea to get a cheap cell phone that lives in the office, just for this kind of thing?

It looks like you only need to receive SMS codes so an old, unfancy phone someone has lying around at home might be used if you don't want a new one. In the UK we can get some sub-£10 per month SIM-only deals or a Pay As You Go SIM which might need a few pounds of credit adding every month or to be used just once every now and then to keep it active. Could you implement something like that?
